Now... before I submit anything, I'd like it to be known that I've only opened a deviantArt account for exposure purposes.

I used to freelance for about a year before getting a '9-to-5' job... I failed miserably in freelancing due to lack of exposure (and being an old fart with a family to care for.) My only customers were two teenagers I've met on a fanisite, and only one of them is a steady customer... and the closest I've gotten to a sign up deal was for a stint with a greeting card company, and they chose someone else for their card art over me. (I don't blame them. I personally don't think I'm good enough to become notorious, much less popular.)

Now, most of the stuff I'm uploading/I've uploaded is fanart for different franchises and sources, due to the fact that: 1) I'm leery about sharing my original-original work; 2) Some of these are Commissions, Requests, or Art Trades I did in the past; 3) I had selected them for display long beforehand.

I take both unpaid requests and paid commissions and both options happen to have pros and cons.

If you request something from me, the quality will likely be better than that of a commission... BUT the big downside is the fact that you'll probabbly have to wait months (sometimes years) before I get around to it. I'll fill out requests only when I feel like I can make a satisfying piece, and that might take a while. So only request if you are in no real hurry. (You might speed it up just a tad if you donate a minimum of $1)

If you pay for a commission, you can actually set a deadline for the commission. The quality might not be as good as a request, but at least it'll be ready for whatever you have in mind. Do be reasonable with the deadlines... It might take me anywhere between two weeks or a month before I can complete a full-out colored CG'd drawing with a full color background.

Also, I'm not just limited to a mechanical pencil and computer. I also offer drawings in charcoal and colored pencil... However, since those are mediums I don't often use, the prices on you drawings might or will be different.

To get a paid commission-
1) Email me what you want in your commission. Is it a drawing or a sketch, do want it cg'd or not, do you want it drawn in charcoal, inked over, or colored with colored pencils?
2) Include in your email what character(s) you want me to draw. A detailed description and/or premade reference(s) would be greatly appreaciated unless you specifically tell me that you want me to mess with the character design(s).
3) Also tell me when you expect in your commission so I can get started on it. I might not send it until I get the commission money.
4)For now, I will only accept check or money orders through the mail. ~PLEASE, PLEEEAAASE make ALL checks and money orders out to 'R. Antonio', not Ryan, for transaction purposes~ I will e-mail you if I get the money and that e-mail will tell you that I started work on your commission.

To make a request-
